I have found a $30 Macrovision defeater that does the job perfectly. My main reason for getting this is 1) I'd like the VHS we own to be backed up onto DVD, and 2) we have a PAL VHS movie that we would like to watch without using the international VCR at my old employer's office. The one redeeming feature of February WAS that it was short.  Except my company switched from biweekly to semimonthly paychecks.  So my second paycheck in March, the one we like to pay rent out of, will be for a lousy 9 days of work. I think it's time for calendar reform.  And by calendar reform, I mean putting everyone in Wisconsin into suspended animation from the day after the Super Bowl until Memorial Day weekend. Today I found a 1984 Crown Victoria with moderate body damage parked in our lot, with a bunch of cardboard boxes piled in the back.  I went into our building, and I could clearly hear Poison being blasted through the door of the previously unoccupied apartment next to ours. (136 words in story)
