| Like always, as soon as respect for the lives of other humans starts to make its way back into my brain, something like a laptop stampede tramples it right back out. People are driven to a foaming frenzy over the idea of getting some marginally decent deal on the laptop world's equivalent of day old doughnuts.
Would you beat someone with a lawn chair for the opportunity to pay $50 for a 4 year old iBook? I wouldn't even get out of bed at 9am for a free one.
To make matters worse I'm sure that every single person who bought one will call me on my cell phone tomorrow and want me to walk them through setting up their Windows only AOL software. When I tell them MacOS isn't Windows they'll get mad and want me to find them a cracked copy of Office because they don't really want to spend any money on just software and could I stay on the phone with them to explain to their grandma why popup blockers don't work for Flash popups.
