Suicide is Painless

No, I'm not going to kill myself, nor am I in any way suicidal, but I've had this stuck in my damn head since like Tuesday, and seeing it posted on K5 earlier today made me want to talk about it here.

Through early morning fog I see
visions of the things to be
the pains that are withheld for me
I realize and I can see...

That suicide is painless
It brings on many changes
and I can take or leave it if I please.

I try to find a way to make
all our little joys relate
without that ever-present hate
but now I know that it's too late, and...

you know from whence I am speaking so please don't go there......

Life is too short as is and yes, sometimes suicide seems really like a good option, I know that, been there, done that, have a nice collection of t-shirts, most have these little ties in the back of them. ;-)

Truth is, you are needed, you are loved, you are important to so many people, don't forget that.

With that, I know you are strong and will make it through this, just keep your chin up, move on forward and things will get better, I promise you that.......and you know I don't break my promises. Time is a great healer and a great teacher, learn and move forward, you have great things ahead of you.

if, in fact, you did, do me a favor, email me and ask me for the guitar tracks and separate drum tracks, i'll upload them, you can get garageband and record vocal tracks: because i know you still have a microphone some where. Even if you didn't just take a pair of head phones and buy the 1/4" -> 1/8" adaptoid at Radioshack© to make it fit in your mixer/mic input on your sound card. Just use the ear piece and reverse the flow of signal - the speaker becomes the mic. It's an ugly hack but it works and adds a great affect. So any way, record some stuff and when it's done, upload it in to my /music directory, alert me of it's presence, and i'll listen to it.

it can be transformed into something so unrecogniseably different as to barely be related to the original.
