i found a torrent a while back that had like 20 pink floyd cds all together. I have quite the collection now :-)
Better loving through chemistry.

Animals was good, (5.00 / 1) (#2)

but Wish You Were Here was their best album, evar. With Meddle being a close second. Then Dark Side, then Animals, then The Wall, then The Final Cut, then everything before Meddle.

Sorry, that, and Momentary Lapse of Reason are not real Floyd albums. I saw the AMLR tour, twice - they rocked when doing the old stuff. :-) Even without Roger Waters.

with a good David Gilmour solo album.

Actually I'm ashamed to admit that I really like both "Learning to Fly" and "On the Turning Away."  Ok, they're not "Have a Cigar," but they're decent songs nonetheless.

There's some good songs on AMLOR (none / 0) (#7)
by Bold Marauder on Wed Jun 08, 2005 at 11:18:14 AM GMT

But I honestly think the last floy album is "the wall" (maybe even "Animals" if you consider the amount of control Waters excerted on The Wall and the fact that Rick Wright didn't even play on it).

That was fucked up. He basically kicked him out of the band, and Gilmore and Mason were like, "What? Fuck that shit."

Animals was good, so is almost everything they have done, all the way back to the earliest stuff.

My favorite song? 'Wish You Were Here'.
