As of 2:04pm EDT Tuesday, the Space Shuttle Discovery made the start of its 1 mph sprint down the driveway so they can launch in May.
With .gif animations, i've put together a few small visual scenes, so you, the reader, may have a better understanding of what it will be like in space. read on ->

View of Shuttle flying near The Earth and its one moon, titled appropriately, Moon.

In space, every thing is white, i mean black, no, black and white. Astronauts will enjoy blending in and doing flips in between hollow/invisible planets, planets that don't look like Mars, arrogant gas baron planets, expanding and contracting slinky planets, and planets that have the Earthlink Logo circling them. Space looks like fun!

Some times the Astronauts do donuts in the shuttle. They think no one is watching!!!(NASA's got big telescopes)
Okay, it's getting late (3:30am), I want to sleep. I hope you learned much about space.
Any way, good luck Astronauts! |
