Vlad, having a little trouble with SRU...

Diary

When I visit the various links pages (you name it, "Front Page", "Everything", "Diaries"), many of the stories don't have a link to read comments.  I can still arrive at these stories by going to the comments of the ones that do contain this link, then navigating backward or forward through the story order.

Anyone else having this problem?

I need more information. (none / 0) (#2)

either email me directly {vlad} (at) [lrsehosting] <dot> |com|, or post here - what browser are you using? Is this only on one computer? Have you tried another browser? If you're running windows and IE, have you cleared the cache, and rebooted?

it appears to have been one computer. (none / 0) (#3)

Firefox, XP Pro, vprMatrix laptop.  I believe I've got the cache set to clear when the browser is closed, but I'd have to check (I'm on a different box at the moment.)

What I'm still noticing on this box is that some of the stories say "read more" and others say "comments".  I think it's been that way for a while, but it never really registered before.  (Same software setup, Frankenstein box.)

Who's dead now?

If it only happens on the one computer, I'd say the computer is the source of the trouble. I'd offer to come and fix it, but I have no idea what state you're in even. :-)
