Sad News! I heard on talk radio today that "The Ramones" guitarist Johnny Ramone was found dead in his Cedars-Sinai hospital room in Los Angeles today at the age of 55. There weren't any more details. I'm sure everyone in the SRU community will miss him. Even if you were never a fan of doing every drug known to mankind, there's no denying his contributions to our society. Truly an American icon.

Yeah, well, actually there was more info. Apparently cancer. There's only one Ramone left. I guess that's what happens when you're constantly loaded.

Seems like too many die like this and with the decline of 'real' Rock n Roll, well, it just seems a shame, yet fitting on the day that Ivan hits the coastline and hammers New Orleans and Alabama and the Gulf Coast of Florida that we hear yet another Ramone died.
