It reminds me of some of those Sci-Fi stories I have read over the years. Kind of interesting and perhaps the answer to over-indulgence. It also will be a fad for a while with the younger set I am sure.

Call me old fashioned, but I like my liguor over ice, in a glass (when I drank anyway). It just seems much more classy that way. I have always had to use an inhaler for asthma so that is not such a big deal to me, not exactly something I would want to do other than when I need to.

My personal rule is to drink it because I like the taste, not because there's alcohol in it. Usually, this means less strong drinks (as opposed to straight whisky, etc).

Anyway, I agree that it's much classier to imbibe via liquid. This sort of thing just looks dorky.
