Film, stage and screen star, Tony Randall died at the age of 84. He died from pneumonia after having a by-pass surgery for his heart.

| Tony Randall was a fixture on the David Letterman show for a long time. He was there close to 70 times and was always doing something to knock his character that had built up over the years from his Felix Unger days. "Fussy Felix"
Tony Randall married in recent years a woman 50 years younger than he and fathered two children. Not bad for a 'fussy old Felix' if you ask me!!
He will always be remembered for his humor, his talent and his long career on stage to which he devoted a lot of money to help a lot of younger stars get there start. He also was not afraid to play the part of a homosexual back in years before Ellen Degeneres came out on television! Being a true talent, he felt no role was taboo........it was about playing your best no matter what.
Broadway, Hollywood and David Letterman will miss him. |
