Cats are wonderful pets and companions. Mine sleep on my bed, stay with me when I am sick and follow me around all over the house, like kids. They are sweet, loving and very amusing animals.

Mine are part of my family and are treated as such.

I would think that thousands of years ago, when life was much simpler, that cats would be a wonderful companion to a human. They must have been a comfort and a source of entertainment as well.

Right now my parents are keeping a couple of kittens for us, until a few months from now when we'll be moving into a place that allows them. They're littermates, a boy and a girl. The boy is an orange tabby, and the girl is a tortoise shell with a white patch on its chin. They love people. They will curl up on anyone's lap. Here are some pics from when we first got them back in November:
