Too Much Holiday Cheer? or is everyone just trigger happy?

Heard a couple of interesting things on the radio the other morning while driving to work.  Makes one wonder if all the people celebrate with too much eggnog over the holiday season!

Some man in Louisianna got up during the night to go to the bathroom, saw a silhouette in the hallway and fired his gun at the figure.

Turns out it was his MOTHER!  She had come to spend the Thanksgiving Holiday with the family and he forget she was there.  He forgot?????  Come on, you forget your mother is visiting? Sheesh, that is a good son.

The kicker was that thankfully she was not hurt, only grazed but he had this to say.."My Mom is mad as hell at me for shooting her!"   Now I wonder why she would be mad about that?  And just think, this was his mother, what the hell would he do to his mother-in-law?  I am afraid to think about that.

The other thing was that this couple had a baby, and after bringing the baby home, they decided to go on a 3 day crack binge....during which the baby died.  Those kind of people need to be put away forever.  What kind of people celebrate the birth of their child with a 3 day crack binge?  Has everyone lost their mind????

The last thing, and I enjoyed this one....a man dressed as Santa Claus sat out his little black pot and rang his bell all day in front of a shopping mall.  The man collected a lot of money that day, as it is early in the season, then left around closing time.  It seem this guy was not doing it for the salvation army but for himself.  Charity begins at home I guess. :-)

I am currently getting happy on our old liquor, so that we may make room for some new, eggnog-friendly liquor.

Also, Caramel flavored Cask&Creme is icky.  But someone has to finish it off ;-)

Ohhhhhhhhhh, any flavor of Cask & Creme is yummy!

If you don't like it, splash a little milk in it, it smooths it out a bit.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...Cask & Creme.
