THE AGENCY FOR MANUAL ELECTION RECOUNTS claims they have the platform to sell your election vote: online, global. parasew.5uper.net has an article in german, plus, in graz/austria, the radical media hacking-group ubermorgen is offering paper ballots from the us-election to be sent to the states.
could vote-selling be the business of the future?

dividing image

In 2000, some people tried to sell their vote via ebay: "Six people offered to sell their vote for president on the Internet this week, fetching as much as $10,100 before online auctioneer eBay canceled the bidding. Meanwhile, another site is soliciting undecided voters to offer as a block to the highest bidder for each state.[..]" (I-LIST)

From voteauction.com 2000 to SELLtheVOTE 2004: Their point is "Why only americans are allowed to elect the U.S. president, allthough his decisions will affect the whole world?"
Quote from a mail-sendout from *THE AGENCY*:
"Voice from SELLtheVOTE.COM user Linda, 25, NY: My vote goes to a Puerto Rican, Puerto Ricans living in Puerto Rico pay federal taxes, fight in the US army, and have US passports - but are entirely denied a right to vote in the presidential elections. ... Puerto Rico has been occupied and used as a military training base by the US ... for decades. I offer my vote to a Puerto Rican living in Puerto Rico ... I will sell you my vote."

And I have some recent pictures of Elvis that I am auctioning on Ebay........got them in Memphis on my vacation this summer....good ones, really close-ups of the King as he is now.....fat, bald and really looking just like a White Al Sharpton.

Anyone interested?

all I can think of is an Onion story from years ago about a recently discovered velvet Elvis painting that was "clearly the work of Pablo Picasso."

The use of pastels, the graceful, flowing lines, clearly these are from the hand of Picasso.

Actually, come to think of it, it was a blacklight velvet unicorn, not a velvet Elvis. But velvet Elvis would be cool.

"Under the Commonwealth formula, residents of Puerto Rico lack voting representation in Congress and do not participate in presidential elections. As U.S. citizens, Puerto Ricans are subject to military service and most federal laws. Residents of the Commonwealth pay no federal income tax on locally generated earnings, but Puerto Rico government income-tax rates are set at a level that closely parallels federal-plus-state levies on the mainland."

That said, people are stupid. Long live stupid people.

that if they catch the person doing this, they'll be arrested. Vote selling is illegal.
