Former Padres and Astros star, and one-time MVP, Ken Caminiti died of 'roids and coke. Sad news. Truly a Balco icon.

I should add that, by all accounts, he was a good guy, loved by many. When will MLB get its head out of its ass about testing for juice? How many other good guys have to die young because they had to risk their health to keep up with other juicers?

These people make a conscious decision to do this to themselves. They are well compensated for their potentially diminshed lifespan. Their job is to hit a baseball, knock someone senseless, etc. for the amusement of the masses. As long as they can do it, who gives a crap if they flame out and die early?

Certainly not me.
