Non-stop rain for 4 days in December/January is fun.

Especially when your sump-pump freaks the fuck out and tries to stop working.

Then the GFCI outlet that it is plugged into dies.

And your basement floods.

Because the ground around your house cannot hold any more water.

And your entire region is under a Flood WARNING.

Winter fucking sucks.

it isn't just a flat roof problem...  if the angle isn't steep enough for the snow to fall off, you still could have it happen.  

Why do you think the swiss have those steep-angled A-frame houses?
