MLP: RIAA's Subpoena Process Being Challenged

The RIAA's subpoena process is being challenged by ISPs before a Senate panel. While the RIAA is defending its procedures, others state that it violates due process.

Personally, I'd like to see the RIAA kicked into next week. It is interesting that the Senator heading the panel has already proposed changes to the RIAA's ability to subpoena.

I just read some sad news on slashdot. Beloved constitutional right due process was found dead in its' fouth amendment home. I'm sure we'll all miss it, even if you didn't need its' legal protection there's no denying its' contribution to vegan guacamole recipes. Truly an american icon.
