14% Alcohol. Price: £5.00 on special offer at local Thresher.
Colour: This particular wine is a very dark red. There is a hint of purple indicating that this could use another 1 - 4 years in the bottle. What's the chances in this house?
Nose: Dissapointing - slightly acetone. The shiraz/grenache from the same producer has rich berry flavours.
Taste: Initial impression is that it slips down easily. Maybe a slight hint of rasberry in the background with some diesel overtones. Short finish.
Overall impression: Well, fuck it, I'm just getting into the 2nd bottle now and it's starting to grow on me. Might go and dig out some cheese and crackers before the other half comes home. Think I've got water biscuits and cheddar.
Shit - hope nothing happens with the kids now, starting to heel a bit funny. Why did I onyl gewt two bottles? Chheese - Mmmmm.
Hey I wonderif my ron jeremy colectyion is still in the basementw. Single malt anyone?> |
