but they are pretty good.  I don't listen to much in that genre anymore, a long time ago I did...Black Sabbath, White Witch, etc.  Now days I listen to almost anything and everything. My daughter tends to like that and some other stuff that is reminiscent of the 70's 'hard rock'.  Good to know it is still alive and well. :-)

Interesting review. (5.00 / 1) (#1)

QOTSA is a fun romp, but it does not stand up to repeated listening sessions.

I am currently (as I type this) listening to Dirty Vegas.

My pants are off.

i have all the stuff they've done (3 records and a few ep/splits) since they became QOTSA and i definitely have my tireless faves. i can't ever seem to get sick of this band. basically, josh homme is pretty much cooler than any one else (besides me, of course) and i think dave grohl does an amazing job (guest :[ ) drumming on the album. the drums on first it giveth has to be one of the coolest things i have heard in a long time.

sorry to hear you can't listen to it a lot, but i, on the other hand can't stop listening to it. i have the guitar parts from three songs, for the most part, figured out. i just wish i had my drum kit here so i can work on figuring out what grohl is doing.
