Had to look up the chemical... (5.00 / 1) (#1)

For everyone's reference who is not up on synthesized hallucinogenic drugs, this compound, known as DET, is a synthetic form of psilocyn.  It is analogous to O-phosphoryl-4-hydroxy-N, N-ethyltryptamine, the synthetic form of the more commonly known psilocybin.  Both are naturally found in schrooms.  It is an indole alkaloid, a fact that likely interests no one but me.

Anyway, now you know.

Oh, and FIRST POST!

Who's dead now?

The compoud was 4-HO-DET, not DET which is orally inactive to the best of my knowlege. It is more related to psilocin (4-HO-DMT) than psilocybin. But you are correct that it is an indole alkaloid. I love you very much geekgirl. I wish to make love to you in the future. I am sure we will.
Better loving through chemistry.
