The new interstate will be just the part of 41 from Milwaukee through Green Bay.  So Wisconsin would have not one (I-43), but two of its very own interstate highways.

The numbering will work out since I-41 will be in between I-43 on the lakeshore and I-39 in the middle of the state.  I drive 30 miles of US-41 per day, so an interstate upgrade would be welcome (granted we'll have moved out of the area by then).
