1. SciFi is owned by NBC-Universal
2. If ENT were to make the jump to SciFi, they'd have to drastically *reduce* their production costs.  By a lot.  Craptastic UPN spends a lot more producing ENT than SciFi does producing SG1.
3. Broadcasting a show like SG1 on NBC would net a lot more $$$ for the company, IF there were an audience big enough to justify it.  Fact is, people would rather watch Women in Bikinis Eating Bugs than thoughtful science fiction.

Enterprise was the last gasp of science fiction on broadcast network TV.  It was a long downward spiral that began with NBC dumping DSV and Earth2 (fantastic show, BTW), and will hit bottom this May.

But, SG1 does air on broadcast television. It's in syndication now, though not the current season. The Syndicated reruns still probibly make the actors more than the first runs on Sci-Fi though.
