Seriously. Everyone around here is happy to hear that "the threat in Chicago" is gone. I'm not. He was a cancer to the team and I'm sad to see him go, for the sake of the Cardinals. I'm afraid the team may get some inspiration now. Oh well. The curse will keep them down.

Let's also not forget that clearly, the mere presence of Sammy Sosa 45 minutes up the Parkway will prevent the Nationals from slicing Peter Angelos' precious market in half. </sarcasm>

Actually, once we're into June and the Nats are 20 games behind the Marlins, Districtians will turn back to the beloved Orange and Black.
