I've personally made it something of a policy not to eat carnivores, with the exception of fish.  

(There are actually good reasons for doing this...  Environmental toxins tend to become more concentrated the higher up the foodchain you go.  But I don't do it because it seems icky to me.  Like eating a cat.)
