Doohan is 84. He is just in the beginning stages of the neurological disorder.

At 84 there isn't much to be sad about. Age will take him long before he forgets who his children are. Especially with the new whiz-bang meds.

and the D-Day invasion in France.

He got in on the largest "First Post" in the history of mankind.
