how the heck did the woman survive?

I do know someone walked away from a 90-mph wreck. The car jumped a hill, lost control, and slammed into brick wall. So, strange things do happen. But I still can't figure out how someone would survive 120 mph.

Ok, the article does provide some clue: the whole "hit several trees" bit. I'm guessing each impact was great enough to slow the Benz down, lessening the severity of the final impact.

Especially given where her head would have been... You'd think she would have broken her neck hitting the steering wheel (probably would have slipped under the airbag). On the other hand, there wasn't any chance of her going through the windshield.

Anyway, that was a rather distrubing digression.
